Fairy Charm~ How to pass your exams.

Many Fairies at this time of year start to get into a real Tizzy ( which is actually where the collective name for Fairies comes from, I believe) This is due to the coming of the examination season.

Fairies or Fairylets to be precise, have been working up to this moment since they were 84 FYI (Fairy Years Information) and to them, it is a momentous time indeed. They have to show their Fairy Tutors their knowledge of 1000’s of wildflower names for instance, not to mention the cultivation of herbs and snowflakes, where and when to find certain berries, how to cultivate seeds and store feathers suitably, how to identify stars and read a moths wings' laundry care label. The list is endless. If they pass their exams they will receive the Diploma of the Tree of Knowledge ( D.O.T.) a very great achievement. Of course some Fairies say they are no good at exams and some may fail them because of that very thought. Some do hardly any work and pass with flying colours on their wings, others may scrape through by the skin of their teeth and some are not ready to face an exam at all, at any time, ever.

So I thought I would do a little 'Delving' on behalf of The Wittering News and I discovered a very old Fairy Charm that was used in the Middle Ages, possibly for keeping Cygnets, but I think it will do the trick in any stressful situation. I pass it on to you, of course, in the strictest of confidence. There is one thing Fairylets should never use during an exam and that is Magic. Absolutely not! I would never condone that (also the Editor has forbid me mentioning it, due to lawsuits.)

"There are two ways to pass your exams - the hard way or the easy way."

Let me be clear from the outset, this charm only works on those who are going to pass their exams. As I said, passing your exams can be achieved the hard way or the easy way. Now of course everyone wants to know the easy way don’t they? Well some do, but others insist on the whole thing being difficult and very upsetting. So for those Fairylets, I want to share this special Fairy Charm. It works best if it is whispered whilst underneath an old oak tree (optional- any tree will do).

FAIRY CHARM

The Light of Knowledge be within,

Breath of serenity be within.

I remember. I remember.

Time is a plenty.

The Earth supports me.

Clarity and calmness surround my thoughts,

The answers arrive on the gentle breeze.

All is well- my best is good enough.

Right, well now, that’s the hard way to pass your exams , now onto the easy way! Simply - be diligent, revise (a lot), throw yourself into it, enjoy it and above all be kind to yourself . Do your best and that is more than good enough.
