The Enchanted Cottage,
Wittering,
Chestershire.
Sunday around tea time,
Dear Friend & Fellow Enchanted Being,
Thank you for stepping into my magical little world. I am delighted you got this far - how inquisitive of you! Before you go any further, I must clarify what I mean by the term 'magical'.
Magical, to me, isn't somebody with the Ace of Spades up his sleeve, oh dear me no, so if that's the sort of thing you are looking for then you are in the wrong place. Similarly, if you are expecting a sugary, pink, celebrity coated Fairy Palace, then apologies, but this is not for you either.
However, if you currently have acorns in your pockets, see magic in small things, like cosy cups of tea and fireside stories and will always stop to say hello to a Robin, then you are definitely in the right place. You are my cup of foragers tea!
This is a world of the unnoticed things, butterfly wings, wildflower names, hares, full moons and of course - Fairies! A magical world, almost forgotten, but which you know still exists - if you look hard enough.
So welcome, shake off your cares and cobwebs, leave them at the door, wipe your feet in some 'Wingworth Dust' and as if by Magic you will hopefully find what you're looking for here.
If not, then Elfie, my little assistant, will help you find it, it's probably on the top shelf. ( She is very organised. Hmm... overly so.)
Meanwhile Tempus Fugit - I'm off to pickle my Pumpkins.
best wishes with inky stained fingers,
Honeysuckle Harebell

p.s. Oh Catkins! I forgot. Elfie has just reminded me, to invite you to join The Tea Time Club, the kettle has just boiled! I can then call you by your Fairy Name & will send you a copy of the
'Wittering News' with all the local gossip. One lump or two?
